  • Responsible teacher at University of Tampere, Finland, September 2017 to December 2019, for MSc and PhD candidates. Lectured Courses: “MTTTP1 - Introduction to Statistics” (Program - Basic concepts; Descriptive statistics; Basics of statistical inference; Linear models); “TAYJ024 Visualization of Quantitative Data” (Program - Introduction to R and D3; Data exploration and data visualization: online databases, visualization of multivariate data, visualization of temporal data and of spatial data, text visualization; Big data applications)
  • Since April 2013 - Assistant Professor at Department of Statistics, federal University of Bahia, Salvador, Brazil. Lectured courses on:
      • Basic Statistics for students in Administration, Accounting, Nutrition, Pharmacy;
      • Multivariate statistics, data analysis, basic statistics for students doing the BSc in Statistics;

  • Statistical Consultant at Prio Agriculture SRL, Romania, August of 2010 to August of 2011. Theme: Design and analysis of experiments, analysis of genotype by environment data, spacial analysis. Project Coordinators: Paulo Canas Rodrigues and Nuno Alegria.
  • Statistical Consultant at Portuguese Association of Big Families. From October of 2006 to September of 2007. Theme: Construction of a survival model. Coordinators: Engineer Fernando Castro and Professor João Tiago Mexia.
  • Junior Consultant at a collaboration project between Faculty of Sciences and Technology, Nova University of Lisbon and the Portuguese Statistical Institute. From October of 2006 to September of 2007. Theme: Development of a computer application that able the user to calculate the estimates and sampling errors associated with enterprise surveys and households surveys. Collaborator: Dr. Miguel Fonseca. Coordinators: Professor João Tiago Mexia and Professor Pedro Corte Real.
